Storage & Freezing Tips – Banana Bread

Our banana bread is a generous, large loaf, and many customers find it’s more than they want to eat at once. A great option is to freeze it. Banana bread freezes very well—whole or sliced. Pre-slicing is especially convenient when you want just one or two slices instead of the entire loaf. For best results, use freezer bags. Plastic food wrap also works, but we recommend using two layers or adding a foil wrap for extra protection against freezer burn. When stored in the refrigerator, fresh banana bread will keep well for 5–6 days.

Freezing & Reheating Soup

If you purchase a full order of soup (serves 6), freezing it is a great option so you can enjoy it anytime. Soups can be frozen in individual containers or in one large container. To reheat, thaw the soup overnight in the refrigerator. The next day, transfer the partially frozen soup to a pot and warm it over low to medium heat, stirring constantly until fully thawed and heated through. If the soup is thick, you may add some of your favorite stock to thin it to your desired consistency. Continue stirring until smooth and hot—then it’s ready to enjoy. Soups can be stored in the freezer for up to 2–3 months.
